If you’re stupid you’re probably a Republican

COMMON SENSE SAYS: When members of your part continue to demonstrate their stupidity, you’re a stupidity magnet better known as the Republican party.

There was a time when being a Republican meant standing up for some sane things, but that time has passed. Here are some examples of Republican stupidity:

1ne: Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Tex.) warns that the Green New Deal, which hasn’t passed, is already ushering in an avian apocalypse. He said that birds that aren’t killed by windmills are spontaneously combusting while flying over solar panels.

2wo: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) doesn’t believe in evolution but does believe in Jewish space lasers.

3hree: Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) tweeted that “1984 is a great fiction novel to read.” As opposed to an excellent nonfiction novel?

4our: Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said he would support vaccine mandates only if “there’s some incredibly dangerous disease.” Covid-19 has already killed at least 700,000 Americans,

5ive: Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) demanded that President Biden be removed from office for “colluding with the Taliban.” This was flagrantly hypocritical because, in February, she criticized Biden for not withdrawing from Afghanistan fast enough — and then in August, she praised the Taliban for “ building back better.”

6ix: Of course, we can’t talk about stupidity without mentioning Trump. Like when he couldn’t admit he was wrong when he tweeted that Hurricane Dorian was going to hit Alabama, and so he drew on a weather map with a Sharpie to make it seem like he was right.

These are just some examples of Republican stupidity. Every time they open their mouths, they prove their ignorance again and again. It’s hard to believe anyone could call themselves a Republican, but Trump supporters prove that they are just as stupid every day.
