Doximity is worth considering, but if it’s about numbers, Medscape has to be your first choice. Medscape is the daily news page for HCPs, and they are great to work with for reaching targeted physicians. On the other hand, Doximity was getting filled with COVID-19 misinformation and anti-vaccine content posted from physician members, CNBC reported August. While the CEO insisted that it was a minor problem, it’s still troublesome.
The customized Medscape homepage, by specialty, has become a great “first morning” stop for many HCPs but what I like about them is their willingness to “guarantee” to reach targeted physicians with your message. It’s still about ROI.
Over the years, Medscape has improved its content and usability as well. They have never let me down, and my clients are delighted with the results.
